Sports Carnival 2026: Beyond the Finishing Line

Our school’s Sports Carnival is an exciting annual event that brings the TKGS community together through friendly competition, teamwork, and House spirit. As students participated in the various events and cheered one another on, they strengthened friendships, built a stronger sense of community, and learnt to appreciate one another’s talents and efforts.

The school buzzed with vibrant colours, cheers, and excitement as Sports Carnival 2026 officially kicked off. Throughout the day, students enthusiastically participated in a range of sports and track and field events, while students filled the sidelines with encouraging cheers and chants. At every venue, participants demonstrated determination and perseverance, while their classmates cheered them on with unwavering enthusiasm.

Kashvi Panicker (3R6) captured the day's atmosphere, sharing, “It’s fun to see everyone being really energetic, and you can really see the House spirit and sportsmanship within all the cohorts and classes.” For her, the highlight was cheering on a friend during Human Foosball—a sentiment that captured the true heart of the carnival. Beyond the thrill of competition, the day was ultimately a celebration of camaraderie, mutual support, and lasting friendships. 

As the cheers faded and the final points were tallied, Sports Carnival 2026 drew to a close with another day of unforgettable memories.

A big congratulations to Teresa House for securing the Overall Championship for the fourth consecutive year—a remarkable achievement earned through sheer determination, teamwork, and unstoppable House spirit! Yet, beyond the scores, the day belonged to the entire TKGS community. Whether competing on the track, cheering from the stands, or running operations behind the scenes, every student and staff member embodied resilience, friendship, and school pride. Thank you to everyone who made Sports Carnival 2026 such an unforgettable success. We can’t wait to see that same energy next year!
