Appeal Process for Sec 1 Admission
APPEAL FOR ADMISSION TO TKGS – SEC 1 2026
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting an appeal application:

The appeal for admission to TKGS opens on 19 December 2025 and closes on 24 December 2025 at 5 p.m. Please note that late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Students appealing for admission to TKGS after the release of the Secondary 1 Posting results MUST meet the school's cut-off points (COP).

G2: 23
G3: 13

MOE’s no-transfer policy applies to students who have been successfully placed in a Secondary School via Direct School Admissions (DSA).

Only shortlisted applicants will be informed and may be required to undergo an interview as part of the selection process. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 9 January 2026. If you do not hear from the school by this date, you may assume that your application has been unsuccessful.

The decision of the school’s Admissions Committee is final and the school will not enter into discussion with applicants regarding its decision.

Pending the outcome of the appeal, all applicants are required to report to the school assigned by the Ministry of Education on Secondary 1 Registration Day.

To facilitate our consideration of your appeal, please have the following documents in softcopy before submitting the appeal form. (This appeal form will be accessible after the secondary 1 posting results have been released.)
- PSLE Result Slip
- Copies of P5 and P6 result slips from Primary School
- Copies of CCA Records
- Other relevant documents
