Unboxing a World of Possibilities: Sec 1 iPad Unboxing Day

On a vibrant morning in TKGS, our Secondary 1 TKGians eagerly gathered for the highly anticipated iPad unboxing event, a significant milestone in their Personal Learning Device (PLD) journey. The event was not just about hardware; it was a "teachable moment" designed to cultivate a heart of gratitude and a sense of responsibility as students learned to care for their new digital companions.

The atmosphere was electric as students carefully unsealed their devices, guided by a supportive team of staff and student tech champions. This hands-on experience is central to our mission of developing inquisitive learners who can co-construct knowledge in a dynamic school setting. During the session, students expressed excitement about how their new iPads would empower their self-directed learning.

As the session concluded, our Sec 1s left with more than just iPads; they carried a renewed sense of agency and a commitment to being ethical digital learners.
