The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (2027) application is open for eligible students (Sec 1 to 4 students in 2027)

The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF) provides pocket money for children from low-income families through disbursing schools on a monthly basis.

Students are provided with a maximum of 24 months of assistance during their entire primary to secondary schooling years.

Students who are successful in their applications will receive the monthly school pocket money of $100 through the school from Jan 2027 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria

a. Student is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;

b. Family has a gross per capita income of $1,000/month or less;

c. Student is not concurrently receiving school pocket money from another STSPMF disbursing agency or receiving monthly school pocket money from other schemes, excluding MOE/ SPED Financial Assistance Scheme and ComCare Assistance; and

d. Student has not received the maximum 24 months of STSPMF assistance during her entire primary to secondary schooling years.

Application Procedure

a. Download and complete the following Annexes (if applicable) with the supporting documents.

• Annex A - 2027 STSPMF Application Form for Schools

• Annex B - Income Declaration Form

b. Submit the completed and supporting documents via email to the school by 11 Sep 2026.
